If you want to properly straighten a mast you would have to heat it to a specific temperature. But that would require a furnace and it would be cheaper to buy a new one. Easier to just bend it back. Whether its a top or bottom section just put the end of the mast under the axle of a standard laser trailer, and than over the roller bar. Pad both contact points with a towel or lifejacket or it will dent the mast. Then swing out of the end of the mast. Be conservative or you will end up bending it back and forward and badly weakening the mast. This will work much better for a top section. Finally dont expect the mast to last too long.

just fire it in the wrong way and go for a burn in a good 25knts or so loads of down haul and kicker....it would make it really weak but straight all the same

lol. happened my top section. Take the end stop out of the bottom, and pack it tight with sand. This will stop it bending too much "Don't expect it to last too long" hehe. It wont! But it'll give a looooad of rake!! ahaha
