its not disgraceful. those second hand sellers are just honouring a time honoured tradition called "chancing ones arm". Offer them what you think its worth and see how you get on. you mgiht be surprised.

Southern prices are even worse. There are boats for sale in Dublin that are more expensive than the new ones now! 10 year old boats going for 3500 when a new one is 4500-5000. Screw it, I'll just buy a new one! I'm sorry, how about 'Laser 4.7 177848'...."A steal at €4500" - I bet that's not sold yet!
