the race committee on the radial course were incompetent. they abandoned two races because of moving marks and kept us out for 8 hours one day! also their way of taking numbers for black flags is illegal!

the od was fairly incompetent... i also saw him pick his nose during the briefing!!!! although in his defense he did have a lovely hat on all week

I think the nationals were great. The idea of splitting the fleet was great and made for great racing. Think your being harsh the races we sailed were good ones much better than before when we were mixed up with standards and 4.7s. Ok there was a problem with marks drifting but we had 7 fair races.

Yeh the radial racing was great and pro was odd but thats not unusual. Sounds like you didnt sail well mate.

has to be said tho that the organisation was top notch. on shore especially was quite slick.

Its sad someone hides behind radial fleet as this does not reflect the sentiments of the fleet but some individual who had a bad event and rather than come clean tries to represent the fleet as a whole with their hang up. I enjoyed myself and the racing and don't need someone commenting on my behalf.

some people ain't got a sense of humour. To see the individual recall flag used on a black flag race The OD must have a sense of humour well to do it 3 times he must be great crack all together. Good long hard races though.

the event was fun, but no one can deny that the od did a poor job. totaly unfair to the leaders of the abandoned races. also caused lo0nger days on the water than needed. pooor show.
