Hi, Any frostbite series on the west coast this winter? For the east coast series are there any key differences other than a later start time in Dun Laoghaire? Is Howth in more open water for example?

Howth always has loads of people racing and it would be my recommendation for any rig

WHBTC actually has the best series. Lovely sheltered estuary, TWO races every Sunday, music in the bar afterward and soup/rolls. When it is too windy for the other clubs Wexford has racing! Another plus is that it is a safe learning environment for up and comings!

Speaking of which... I want to do a good frost bite series but there is a crappy one in my club. Which of the Dublin clubs would be the best to go to? When do they usually start and how much do they cost? Thanks!!

The Howth Frostbite Series is the best of the best when it comes to winter racing. A slightly new format this year with video race recording, spot prizes, and an extended racing series. 20 plus races from November to March. See Howth website for details

At the minute, there are 24 registered on the Howth website. Is it a worthwhile event to take part in. I want to train for regionals and (hopefully!) nats. Are there any other frostbites anyone can suggest? Dun laoghaire?? I'm clueless!! HELP!!!! ;)
