Having spent a few years sailing cruisers 3 I want to get started in dinghies but before spending a lot of cash I was wondering what the best way of getting started, having very little experience on dinghies (level 2). Do I jump in and buy a laser or what. Suggestions / comments, Cheers, D

ya a laser is one of the best dinghies around to buy there not cheap but you could pick a good laser with 2 different rigs for around 3000 euro

Why have two rigs? I'm about 6ft, 13 - 14 stone and figured that a standard rig would be the option to go for.

Cause you may not be able to handle it your only a level 2.full rig is quite a step if youve barely sailed dinghies.Try radial then move up if comfortable
