Subject: bending top sections

hello everyone!! eh i have a habit of bending my top sections (by accident!!) and i was just wondering what is the best way to straighten them up again? thanks kt

Put 2 parts together and prop up against a wall or something.Press down gently above the bend.Or put mast in other way round when sailing.Both could with a bit of bad luck break the mast but its the only way to do it.

ok thanks, i tried the one when ya put the 2 sections together the wrong way and sail like that and theres still a bend in it so i think i`ll just leave it and hope it doesnt snap!

does putting the sections the wrong way round not snap the mast cause of the rivet on the other side... dats y ders a arrow... and i reckon dat is probably against the one design rules r sumit!!!

How would it be against the rules same mast no extra fittings nothing is really being changed.the arrow is there because the rivit is strongest when arrows are lined up thats why u only go out in light wind with the arrows the wrong way

ya cand bend back your mast at least 3 times before it will break, then just end to end it. easy! just watch for corrosion around the rivet and fitting
