Guys, a Irish selection process is being put in place as we have only 8 allocated place... in the mean time if you are interested in participating it is URGENT you go on the ILCA website and fill an application form. Nothing to be paid yet and it wont assure you participation, but it will assure you are on the list of the interested sailors.

IMPORTANT - Ranking for International Laser Events. Virtually all the major Laser events have now changed to become “Allocated” events. Instead of the prospective competitors having to contact the Irish Laser Association to register their interest, the contact is now made direct with the International Laser Class Association. A full description of how this works will be found on www.laser-ireland.com under “Events and Forms”. It is also available on the ILCA website (www.laserinternational.org) (the link can be found on the right-hand side of the front page of their site). Applications must be made through ILCA by 14th March for the World Laser 4.7 Youth Championship, 22nd - 29th August, CROATIA, Trogir There are currently places for 5 males and 3 females. ALL PROSPECTIVE ENTRANTS should please register your interest for the appropriate event on the ILCA website NOW. If you do not apply now you will NOT be offered a place if one is available. 4.7 Rig Sailor’s ranking will be based solely on the total of the points gained in both the Munster and Ulster Championships 2008. This is designed to allow those that are new into the fleet an opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities within the 4.7 Rig fleet.
